Discover the New You With No Limits

Why’d I do that? That was so dumb of me! There I go again, always ruining opportunities. What’s wrong with me?

These are the kinds of thoughts that bombard your mind daily. The voices in your head that follow you like a dark cloud, filling you with guilt, regret, and self-pity.

It’s no wonder you’re stressed.

Your mind tries to compensate for all this negative self-talk by giving you goals: I’ll always be on time. I’ll come to work prepared. I’ll exercise five days a week.

Then the instant you fall off track, you’re back to beating yourself up again.

“Why can’t I change?” you ask yourself. It seems like you’re always repeating the same bad habits, no matter how hard you try to get rid of them. You long for one of those makeovers like you see on TV, only this wouldn’t just be a weight-loss or wardrobe makeover. It would be a totally NEW YOU.

But the distance between yourself and the NEW YOU seems insurmountable.

It’s not just you who can’t change. You notice it in others as well. We all know people who keep getting involved in relationships that crash and burn, can’t keep a job, can’t hang onto their money.

It seems like as humans, we’re hardwired to resist change.

But is that really true?

Think back to when you were a child. Your life was an infinite horizon of possibilities. It seemed like every year you were transforming into someone new, taking on new roles. Not only did you become a new person outwardly, but inwardly you were adopting new worldviews and perceptions of yourself.

Unfortunately, the more life we experience, the more our perception of ourselves becomes fixed. That’s because habits start to take root and we lose sight of the infinite beingness that we so intuitively grasped as children.

If someone keeps telling you you’re a loser, eventually you’ll start to believe it.

In the same way, if you keep making the same poor choices—forgetting things, letting others take advantage of you, not following through on commitments—eventually you’ll equate these choices with your identity. Others will label you as “forgetful,” “a doormat,” or “unreliable,” further cementing your “identity.”

So it follows that if you want to break out of this cycle—the cycle of making bad decisions and beating yourself up about it—you’ll need to do something new.

Can you do something new?

I’m assuming you said yes.

First, you need to get rid of all the subconscious baggage that’s been weighing you down, preventing you from reaching higher plains of consciousness.

Think of all the things you’d like to change about yourself. Or, if you prefer to focus on specifics, think of the last time that you really disappointed yourself. Maybe it was today.

What kinds of feelings does it stir up? Guilt? Regret? Anger?

Don’t try to fight or suppress the feeling. Instead, invite it up. Say YES to it.

Now ask yourself: Would I let this feeling go?

Another way of saying it is, “Do I enjoy being angry at myself? Has it helped me to drop my bad habits? Has it helped me to change at all?”

It hasn’t, had it? Otherwise you’d already be doing it. In fact, all this thinking does is lock those negative perceptions into place. Each type you berate yourself, you’re setting that pattern in your mind.

Next ask yourself: Could I let this feeling go?

Maybe it feels like too much. That’s okay. Just let a little bit go.

That wasn’t so hard, was it?

Now let a little bit more go.

And a little bit more.

Now could you give yourself a little bit of approval? Not for any particular reason. Approval never hurt anyone.

And a little bit more?

And a little bit more?

How do you feel now? Lighter? More like change is possible?

When you get rid of all this negative baggage, what you’re doing is giving yourself a clean slate. A chance to start fresh. The best part is, you can wipe the slate clean and reinvent yourself any time you want!

You just have to decide that you’re ready to abandon the old patterns and limited beliefs…and give yourself permission to become the NEW YOU.

Dreaming Big with No Excuses

As children, we had big dreams. When someone asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up, we would say: an astronaut. A movie star. A professional athlete.

The sky was the limit.

But as we got older, things changed. Maybe a parent or teacher told us we had to be practical and find a “real” way to make a living. Or maybe our own disappointments and failures caused us to narrow our horizons and accept this notion that we must settle for less when it comes to reaching our goals.

Either way, it’s time to change this limited thinking.

Picture your dream career. Go big here. Don’t worry if it seems impractical, silly, or even impossible. After all, these are just stories in your mind. Also, make sure it’s something you want—not something you feel pressured to do to gain approval from others.

Now, on a piece of paper, write down all the reasons you can’t have it: the economy, too much competition, you don’t have the right connections, you’re not talented enough, etc.

As you reflect on these reasons, you need to view them for what they really are: excuses.

Right now, you might be protesting: “But it’s not my fault! These are things that I have no control over!”

But notice what’s taking place here. When you categorize the items in this list as things which you have “no control over,” you’re giving up your power to the external world. Therefore, by allowing yourself to become a victim of circumstance, you’re creating this situation of lack.

This is not to say that you should punish yourself. After all, many of these beliefs operate on a subconscious level.

What you should do, though, is accept responsibility for whatever reasons are holding you back from accomplishing your dreams.

Accepting responsibility is an important first step in turning the tide. You see, once you discover that you created all the things you don’t want in your life, you’ll discover that you can also create all the things that you do want.

By doing this exercise, you may also discover that you’ve been harboring some resistance to achieving your goal. Maybe you resist dreaming big because you’re afraid you’ll be disappointed if you come up short. Or maybe you feel that you’re not prepared to handle a big change in your life.

Fear of disappointment and fear of change are what keep many of us from seeking out bigger and better things for ourselves. We remain chained to the familiar, settling for mediocrity because it feels comfortable.

Once you discover the ways in which you’ve been sabotaging your success, you’ll be able to turn off the autopilot and take control of your destiny.

Many motivational programs miss this important first step. They talk about goal-setting and positive affirmations, which are all well and good, but you can’t drive down the road to success before you clear away all the subconscious debris that’s blocking your path.

Next, it’s time to write down your goal statement. Write it in the present tense and in such a way that facilitates your letting go.  Your goal should be specific yet concise.

Here’s another thing. Releasing your blockages and bringing your goals to fruition is like developing a muscle. It’s not exactly “difficult” in the way we normally think of the word, but it does take time and patience. When you’re training for a marathon, you don’t run the full 26 miles on the first day, right?

The same goes for goal setting. If you dream of becoming the CEO of a Fortune 500 company but you’ve never held a management position, you’ll have a hard time wrapping your head around this goal. This is not to say that you can’t achieve this goal—you’ll simply have difficulty overcoming all the internal doubts standing in your way.

So start with a goal that feels satisfying yet realistic and achievable.

An example would be, “I allow myself to have and enjoy the best job for me at this time in my life.”

Once you’ve achieved this goal and discovered the power within you, you can start aiming for bigger and bigger goals.

As Lester Levenson once said, the same rules apply whether you’re manifesting a penny or a billion dollars.

The only difference is your confidence in your abilities to stop creating the things that cause you despair and to start creating the things that bring you joy and abundance.

If you’d like to exponentially increase the rate at which you achieve your goals, the best way is to surround yourself with like-minded people who are also committed to realizing their biggest, boldest dreams. That’s why you should join us at the 7-Day Success and Life Balance Retreat from Dec. 26-January 1.

How to Find Inner Peace Amidst World Chaos

Hurricanes. Wildfires. Mass Shootings.
Hurricanes. Wildfires. Mass Shootings.

If you’ve been following the news lately, it seems like the world is coming to an end.

Just thinking about these things probably makes you feel stressed and anxious.

After all, these are situations you have no control over.

But here’s something you CAN control.

You can control how you react to the news.

First, you must realize you have a choice.

You can CHOOSE to react with fear and anxiety.

Then ask yourself: is the anxiety helping me to cope with this news better? Is it making the situation itself better?

Of course not.

Here’s your other option. You can choose to be IMPERTURBABLE. That is, you can decide to remain CALM and AT PEACE no matter what is happening outside of you.

This may seem unnatural. After all, you are conditioned to experience distress when you see your fellow humans suffering as well as fear that the situation, whatever it is (disease/violence/natural disaster), may fall upon YOU and your loved ones.

But is your distress helping to relieve others of their suffering? Is your fear shielding you from danger

No.

So how do you deal with these negative emotions, specifically those brought on by current events?

First, limit your exposure to the news, whether it be on the television, the radio, or online. This doesn’t mean you need to live in a bubble. But you don’t need to be exposed to it 24/7, either.

The news is designed to conjure up fear, not necessarily to reflect reality. It tells stories of terrible things happening in the world because that’s what gets ratings. If it were true that the world was going to end based on what the news said, it would have ended a long time ago. The more you expose yourself to the news, the more the negative emotions surrounding these stories will start to seep into your own life.

Second, resist the urge to vent about national tragedies on social media or spend hours pouring over comments about them. Reading comments like “I’m terrified for the world” over and over will naturally start to make you feel anxious, or like you should be anxious.

Some people may think that excessively expressing fear and distress in public forums is therapeutic, but it’s not. All it’s doing is pouring negativity on top of negativity.

It’s time to make the choice to NOT let fear run your life. Instead, choose higher emotions like calm and gratitude.

Recognize that remaining imperturbable does not mean being apathetic or insensitive to what’s happening in the world. It is simply a choice to remain filled with joy no matter what is happening around you.

Look where stress has gotten you. Nowhere.

If you feel like you must do something, then pour feelings of LOVE on all those who are affected by the situation, including yourself.

Finally, and most importantly, use the Release Technique to melt the stress away, anytime, anywhere. Think about whatever situation is giving you anxiety right now. Resist the urge to repress the anxiety or vent about it. Simply invite it up. Put your hand on your chest or stomach. You may feel a tightness.

Now make the decision right here and now to let go of the anxiety. You don’t have to be forceful. Just give it permission to leave. You can picture it as a dark cloud and your breath as the wind pushing it out of your body. Be patient. Continue doing this until all the anxiety is gone.

How do you feel now? Lighter? More at ease?

This is just a small preview of what you get when you learn how to release anxiety.

How to Always Make Your Loved One Happy

It seems like some people are impossible to please…especially when it comes to romantic relationships!

One moment you’re talking and laughing.

The next minute your partner is glaring at you in stony silence or carping at you for some inconsequential thing…when you’ve done nothing at all!

As these episodes become more frequent, you start to get on edge.

Desperate not to tip the boat, you go above and beyond to make your partner happy.

You buy expensive gifts.

You avoid any triggers you know would instigate an argument.

You nod silently as you’re berated for a minor offense.

But none of these actions improve your relationship…in fact, they only make it worse!

That’s because if you go out of your way to make your partner happy, you’ll start to feel resentful.

And your partner can sense this resentment, if only at a subconscious level.

According to the law of attraction, energy attracts like energy. Lower vibration energies like anger and resentment will elicit similar attitudes in your lover.

When a problem occurs in your relationship, it’s only natural to panic. You like everything to run harmoniously.

So you rack your brain to come up with solutions.

But there’s a better way.

First, you must love yourself. When you “seek out” love, you’re at the mercy of external forces. But when you look within, you’re in the driver’s seat.

As you start to love yourself, others—including your significant other—WILL take note.

Once you have self-love mastered, you’ll find it easier to love others.

Then, instead of straining to “fix” your relationship problems, surrender yourself to feelings of LOVE for your partner.

“But of course I love my partner!” you protest. “That’s why I’m working so hard to stay together!”

All too often, though, love gets tangled up with negative emotions such as anger and neediness.

Trying extra hard to please your partner may just be fear masquerading as love—

fear of abandonment, fear of conflict, fear of failure.

Unconditional love does not depend on external factors such as your lover’s acceptance and approval. It simply is.

So the next time your partner gets angry because the dishes aren’t done or the snow isn’t shoveled, don’t despair.

Instead, allow LOVE to gently wash over the problem, untangling the knots.

With the Release Technique, learn to cleanse yourself of any negative emotions surrounding your relationship and replace them with pure, unadulterated love.

You’ll soon discover that much of the struggle in your relationship derives from wanting something from your significant other. The instant you learn to abandon this desire and simply give love, everything will flow so much smoother.

Want to go deeper? Try The Relationships Course, which will help you transform even the most problematic relationships into ones of deep connection and tranquility.

As user A.C. reports, “This is the easiest, most comprehensive, most effective method I have ever learned… releasing! Since beginning the course, I have found: My 26 year marriage is BETTER THAN EVER. Almost all struggle and power plays have simply dissipated into thin air, and my husband is now more present and attentive than ever. He even asked me for a Valentine’s Date! Hasn’t happened in forever.”

You can apply this technique to any issue you are facing, not just those associated with romantic relationships.

Struggling to move up in your career?

LOVE is the answer.

Suffering from an unexplained medical condition?

LOVE might be the key.

It’s time to release all the blockages in your life so you can start living a joy-filled existence fueled by the force of LOVE.

The Limitless Mind

I’m sick of the same-old-same-old. It sure would be nice to get away for a bit…if only I had the money. I should get a new job—one that pays better. But there’s no way I’d have time for the job search. I have too much on my plate already.

And so the cycle continues.

Do you see what’s taking place? You’re experiencing a void, so you think of something that will fill that void—a vacation, a bigger place, a new career.

But each of these wants comes with a set of conditions that in turn come with more conditions. Even if you obtain that thing you want, the satisfaction only lasts for so long. Pretty soon, a new source of longing crops up.

As Lester Levenson put it, desire is a bottomless pit that can never be filled up.

The frustration of not getting what you want activates AGFLAP: apathy, grief, fear, lust, anger, and pride. You cry and feel sorry for yourself. You vent your frustration by lashing out at others. You tell yourself, “Why even try?”

So how do you get to the promised land? How do you achieve abundance, excitement, and fulfillment?

The answer isn’t out there.

The answer is right here…right now…inside of you.

The only thing holding you back is your mind. Your mind is telling you stories about what you don’t have. As long as you keep holding onto these stories, that lacking feeling is going to remain.

Wanting is the opposite of having. You can’t want and have something at the same time.

Just as your mind creates these problems, though, your mind is also capable of releasing these problems.

All you have to do is make the decision that you’re not letting yourself listen to those stories.

These stories may seem vivid and powerful. But they’re no more real than a puff of air. They are only recordings of past experiences—they have nothing to do with the future.

Here’s how to let go of that lacking feeling. It’ll work best if you play along and participate.

First, write a list of all the things you want but don’t have.

Then, think about the things on your list. What kind of feeling does it create? A lacking feeling? A feeling of longing or despair?

Ask yourself: CAN you let this feeling go? Answer YES or NO. If the answer is no, why not? It’s just a feeling. It’s not real.

Then ask yourself: WOULD you let it go? Answer YES or NO. If the answer is no, then ask yourself, has holding onto the feeling gotten you what you wanted? Has it made you any happier? It hasn’t, right? Then you might as well let go of it. It’s not helping you anyway.

Finally, ask yourself, WHEN? The answer is, NOW. After all, you want to start feeling better immediately—not tomorrow or next week.

Focus on the situation again and notice how you feel now. Is there more of that lacking feeling left, or has it stirred up other unpleasant emotions? If so, keep repeating the process: Could you—would you—when? Keep doing this until your mind feels calm and quiet.

In the midst of quiet, your mind is UNLIMITED—there’s no longer any I CANTs.

When your mind is unlimited, nothing can hold you back. Freed of the limiting beliefs that have kept you from achieving your goals, you’ll have a clean slate. Instead of yearning for the past or searching for the next bright shiny object, you’ll be relishing in the present. Your life will feel much richer and fuller, and amazing things will start to happen.

Clearing your mind is not always easy, though. After all, you’ve spent a lifetime building up these stories of lack.

That’s why you should join us for the Master Your Life Tele-Course November 10-19.
